实习 are highly encouraged for all students pursuing a degree in theatre at all levels. At the graduate level they are required. 实习 play a vital role in establishing both industry connections and in expanding a student's portfolio for future employment.
实习 are available at regional theatres throughout the country. While primarily summer internships are encouraged, academic year internships are available at many companies as well.
