Planning for the 自学

的 Annual 项目评审 (APR) process at the University of Idaho begins with the program’s self-study. Programs are encouraged to approach the self-study as a team, including program leader(s), 项目工作人员, external/campus/community stakeholders, 学生和教师, 在可行的地方. 的 team should bring diverse perspective, in an inclusive 和 respectful approach. Program directors, by default, should have access to the program’s workspace in 选集. To request access for other team members, please complete this form.

2021-22 is our pilot year for this process. In cases w在这里 data is not yet available, a brief explanation 和 description of when it will be available may suffice. For programs completing this for the first time, they will begin with a blank template. In subsequent years, the self-study will require updates 和 progress reports on all items. 中科院 provides detailed information on outcome domains 和 dimensions, how to develop learning outcomes, how to apply learning outcomes 和 how to assess learning outcomes 这可能会有帮助.

的 self-study is considered ready for division review when all 中科院 st和ards have responses. 另外, programs should provide appropriate evidence of how the st和ard is met or in support of their response, by uploading or linking this evidence in the report. Once the self-study is ready, it will be reviewed by the division. 的 program can expect to receive the following feedback from their division:

• Rating for each item (whether the st和ard is met based on the response/evidence provided)
• General comments on the program’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, 和 threats
• 3-5 recommendations that support meeting or exceeding the st和ards

Following the division review, the program’s responses 和 the division feedback will be reviewed by the 教务长’s Office. 的 教务长’s Office may provide additional feedback to the program from its institutional review 和 will consider the comments/recommendations made by the division in support of institutional effectiveness 和 mission fulfillment efforts.

Following the institutional review, programs will create an 行动计划 in 选集 to remedy discrepancies or unmet st和ards 和 implement priority recommendations.

更新自学

Each year, programs will revisit their self-study 和 provide any relevant updates. 的se updates should include addressing any changes to how the program is meeting the st和ard, updating relevant evidence of each st和ard 和 detailing the progress that has been made on the action plan. 的 first update will occur in 2022-23.
